Katja Retsin and Jan Schepens recently celebrated their twentieth wedding anniversary. And they are still madly in love with each other. What is their secret?
“I think we have a very adventurous marriage,” says Katja Retsin in the Story. “Partly by work, and partly because both of us are still crazy enough as it is. In the us, there has never been a grind, been,” and reveals to the host of the weekly newspaper.
Katja Retsin says that they have to each other time and time again, to encourage, to take on new challenges and doing things that are outside of their comfort zone are. Though they have the ‘desire’ to be together, to be old, add, Katja Retsin there’s loving to it.
“Humour and communication have also played a major role in this,” acknowledges Jan Schepens. “We laugh a lot and make the other person a lot of questions open. We are a loving, curious, in our relationships, and not fear,” reveals Jan Schepens is the secret of their successful marriage.
