Jordi Cruyff has on Thursday resigned from his position as head coach of the dominican republic. The son of Dutch soccer legend Johan Cruyff was not until a half a year in the service of the football federation (EFE) in the South American country, and there was not a single training session or a match down the line.
With the departure of the 46-year-old Cruyff will not come as a surprise. According to South American media, the EFE been happy with Cruyff because he’s barely in Ecuador, it is present, it would have been. The idea is that Ecuador is under the management of Cruyff himself for the world cup of 2022.
“I do everything for myself, one step at a time and then tried to do the right thing”, says Cruyff, in a statement to know. “I am convinced that this is the best choice in a time of great uncertainty for the country, which is suffering the economic consequences of the coronapandemie.”
