Manchester City’s manager, Josep Guardiola calls it, Tuesday’s righteousness and that of his team the next year in the Champions League final to play. The right-back is the period of time that a City is more respected, and have less complaining to hear from other clubs as well.
Guardiola reacted at the press conference for the thuisduel with Bournemouth on Wednesday night for the first time, in the judgment of the CAS. The international sporttribunaal ruled on Monday in an appeal that the City is not a two-year exclusion from European competitions.
“I’m very pleased,” said Guardiola, then, earnestly to his club to defend himself. “What this means is that all the others across the City have said, not what it was. We would make excuses to get people to say that we are proud valsgespeeld, while we are not yet guilty of it. Our reputation has been tarnished by accusations that were not true.”
