The football world mourns the death of Wim Suurbier. The Features and the zestigvoudig Dutch international, died on Sunday at the age of 75 as a result of a brain hemorrhage.

“I have a lot of good memories of him to get one of them to get out of it”, says Ruud Krol, at VI. “I have had a lot of nice things with him and gone through it. He’s going to be a big part of my heart, occupy it.”

A mobile crane has been used by Suurbier in the Ajax and the Dutch national team. Together, they formed the duo Snabbel and a Chat’. “We were all together. We had been on and off the field and a lot of fun,” said the 83-times Dutch international.
