Josep Guardiola has Liverpool on the title. The manager of rival Manchester City, have peace of mind that he is in the championship, with The Reds’ need to leave.
The 2-1 defeat for City at Chelsea, meant that on Thursday, that Liverpool will not be recovered, and that the club had, for the first time since 1990, the champion of England, and to call them.
“I want to congratulate them. They’ve earned it after a great season. We’ll have to see what happens next year happens,” said Guardiola after the defeat at Stamford Bridge. He looked to his team, not for the first time this season, fell short.
