MVV Maastricht on Friday Darije Kalezic has been appointed as the new coach. The fifty-year-old Bosnian signed a contract for a two year period to mid-2022 at The Geusselt.
“I’m looking forward to being at the MVV to get you started. MVV is a great traditieclub with great fans. But the EFV has been in years, his ambitions to pursue. Ron Elsen, technical director, ed.). approached me with a clear story to require an MVV at the time on the map”, said Kalezic on the website of the MVV.
“It is clear that the club, in view of the developments of the last few years, first with a firm and strong foundation must be built. That will take time and patience, especially for me. But, it’s just that what I see as a huge challenge that a lot of energy is going to cost you and pay attention to requirements, but that’s what makes this project more interesting.”
