Leroy Sané departure is likely this summer with Manchester City. The 24-year-old German attacker declines, according to the manager, Josep Guardiola, his one-year contract extension.
“Leroy, have no more than two or three times to let them know that they are cancelling the renewal. So that means after this season or next season, saying goodbye to him will be to take it,” said Guardiola on Friday in a press conference in the run-up to the game on Monday against Burnley.
Sané seemed to be last year on his way to Bayern Munich, but the transfer is bounced off, because he was at the beginning of August, in the battle for the Community Shield against Liverpool with a serious knee injury suffered. He has only just recovered and it was Wednesday again, and for the first time in the selection process for the thuisduel with Arsenal (3-0).
