Gareth Southgate is nice to see that a lot of England is to speak up against racism. According to the head coach of The Three Lions’ need there is for more to be done in tackling discrimination in football to deal with.

Amongst others, Tyrone Heating and Raheem Sterling spoke out this week against racism in football and society at large. The cause of the death of George Floyd, a black man, who just two weeks ago due to police brutality, to the life in the United States of america.

“I have a lot of respect and admiration for the maturity of these players,” said Southgate in conversation with the BBC. “We have the guys in the group to understand that their voice can make a difference. If you believe in it, and you will have the opportunity to make a difference, then you need to seize the chance. I am so very proud of them.”
