Michel Preud’homme quits after two years as a coach and a technical director of Standard Liege. The 61-year-old Belgian continues to be active as a vice-president of the Belgian club.
Preud’homme, combined with since the summer of 2018, with the trainerschap in the position of technical director at the Standards. He did, at the time a contract is up in mid-2022, but that’s two years ahead of schedule, to be in that state.
“This moment was, for me, it’s the ideal time to think about it. You have to be honest to yourself. The desire to be in this group, that is some beautiful things to show, still further, to work out, is there still,” says Preud’homme on Monday on the website of the Standard.
