Gérard de Nooijer will be after 22 years at Sparta Rotterdam, the netherlands. The former defender of the club for one season, was signed as an assistant coach Henk Fraser.
The 51-year-old De Nooijer has been in The Castle, the successor of Aleksandar Rankovic, who last month was appointed as the new coach of ADO Den Haag, the netherlands.
De Zeeuw started his spelerscarrière in 1988 in Sparta, and entered into a ten-year to 246 matches for the club. As a coach, he was an assistant and head coach at FC Dordrecht, the netherlands, where he started in november of 2018, after three years, was fired as a result. He was last employed as coach in the Chinese Dalian, Ishtar.
