Borussia Mönchengladbach, Sunday, no damage is sustained in the battle for a Champions League ticket of the Season. The team of coach Marco Rose won it in his own home, with a 4-1 to 1. FC-Union-Berlin, with a special role to Marcus Thuram.
Monchengladbach suffered from problems with the Union, which Sheraldo Becker is still missing due to a torn muscle fiber. The home team was halfway through already, in a comfortable, 2-0-a lead by goals from Florian Neuhaus, and Thuram.
The Union had after the half, however, for a brief period. The visitors were quickly back to 2-1, thanks to a hit by Sebastian Andersson, but Monchengladbach walked quite fast to 3-1 and even 4-1 by the goals of Thuram and Alassane Pléa.
