Up to 18 per cent of the amateurvoetbalclubs in the Netherlands the fear for the continued existence of the summer, not a full season can be played, as it turns out on Thursday in a survey of a Group of Amateur Football clubs (EGM).

300 voetbalbestuurders filled out the questionnaire at the EGM, which consists of about 1,600 members. The associations up to 250 members, even as high as 29 per cent indicated that the club may not be able to rescue it if in the next twelve months, the restrictions will continue to apply.

EGM-chairman’s Ben van Olffen on the keys and is startled by the figure. “You’re talking about almost 500 different amateur football clubs. Now, it is clear that the small associations are relatively hard to hit, you need to also pay attention to the quality of the steunpakketten,” he said.
