Ibrahim Afellay leaves this summer, after just one season at PSV eindhoven. The expiring contract of the 34-year-old has a disappointing year and will not be extended.
Afellay returned to last year summer, after the adventures at FC Barcelona, Schalke 04, Olympiacos and Stoke City’s return to the club where he made his career in 2004 as it began. He was there in december, after two years of injuries to his back.
Although coach’s Mark van Bommel made him a captain named head Afellay not in the team to play with, and he was only four official matches. His last game played dating back to January 26th, when he’s at home against FC Twente two times, yellow and therefore a red was given.
