The brazil coach Oswaldo Alvarez, better known as Vadão, was on Monday at the age of 63 years passed away. He was suffering from cancer of the liver.

Vadão, was at the world cup in 2015 and 2019 at the latest, the head coach of the Brazilian vrouwenelftal. He has been with the South American nation eliminated in the eighth finals, which cost him at last year’s course.

The coach was also in charge of the Brazilian vrouwenelftal at the Olympic Games in 2016, had to be with his team, have to settle for the fourth place finish, matching the worst-ever performance in that event.
