SC Cambuur and De Graafschap look to the lost in action against the Dutch fa (KNVB) as a devastating event. The court instructed the football association on Thursday for a meeting in Utrecht, and in all respects the same, giving the club promotion to the Premier league, as well as be able to forget it.
“It’s kind of a big disappointment,” says managing director Hans Martijn Ostendorp at NU.nl. “The blow was hard, especially financially. This is going to be about a difference of millions of dollars. I do feel, however, taken very seriously by the courts, but it was clean and tidy when we have the approval of the BOARD would have been.”
Cambuur and De Graafschap took it to court, because of the way in which the Dutch fa (KNVB), the abandoned champion’s League season ended. The number one and two in the Kitchen and the Champion Division of the layers is on track for the direct promotion, but the football association decided that no promotion/relegation will apply.
