Rinus Israel was shocked when he made Wednesday to hear of the death of former team-mate of Eddy Pieters Graafland (86). The former defender played for the Club for many years, along with the legendary ex-keeper, and he will continue to remember to be a reliable, self-willed man.
“It was a very nice guy that really makes it,” says the 78-year-old Israel Wednesday in a conversation with NU.nl. “When it comes to his word, gave up, and you could depend on him.
