The song, ‘Stairway to Heaven’ by Led Zeppelin, what it’s like to be number 1 in the Classics, and 1000. The listeners of Radio 1 are chosen, the number is now, for the eleventh year in a row, to the ultimate classic. ‘Wish You Were Here’ by Pink Floyd, and “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen round out the top three. A week is a long time loodsten Tom Venema, Like Moons, Ronald Verhaegen, Sien Wynants, Ilse Liebens, Korneel De Clercq, and Ayco Duyster and the listener can, through his all-time favourites. On Saturday, it was time for the top 100 of the Classics, and 1000, with the ultimate finishing touch just before 20: 00.
The Classics are the songs that have, over generations of time. The theme of this year’s edition of the Classics, and 1000 were to be ‘generations’: for a whole week, and day to day generatiekwissen (applicants had to have a 20-year difference), and a campaign with child-like illustrations of the classics, and is a co-operation with the PXL-Music. The youthful vigour of the ITEM-popschool in Hasselt and made their own versions of some classics, with breath-taking results.
