Composer of ‘ I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll-Alan Merrill (69) dies of corona virus

Singer-songwriter Alan Merrill, on Sunday, at the age of 69 and died from the effects of the corona virus, and his daughter has posted on Facebook. Merrill was well known to him, and written original, performed ‘I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll, that’s a hit, it was the version by Joan Jett.
Merrill was, in 1951, was born in New York city, the son of two jazz musicians. From the age of nine until the age of thirteen, he was attending boarding school in Switzerland.
At the age of fourteen started out to Merrill, his career in music as a part of the band, The Kaleidoscope. In 1968, and continued with the singer-songwriter of his career in Japan with the band in The Lead.
