The former Vitesse chairman: Kees Baker, on Wednesday died due to the effects of the corona virus. He was 76 years of age.

Baker has worked since 2003 in a variety of positions for Sprint and, in 2016, to the directors appointed by the Arnhem-based club. It was only for three short periods (december 2003, January 2004, October 2008, december 2009 and in June 2016-January 2017) president, Sprint.

“We have to remember Kees as a very able and committed Vitessenaar writing Speed on Thursday on its website. “Kees is a celebrated success by Ensuring that, it is also necessary for the club to pick up the slack to jump. Kees, did, in his way, unhurried, straight-forward, well thought out, and preferably in the background, and it’s heart is in the right place to be.”
