From DNA analysis it appears that the Belgian king, Albert II, 85) is in fact the biological father of the artist Delphine Boël (51). Alain Berenboom, lawyer for the king, and has published a report of various Belgian media outlets.

Boël claims for years that she was a daughter of Albert II. The artist stepped in, in 2013, to go to the court and claimed that the former king, is a DNA test done. There was also, however, that the court would have to consider that her mother’s husband, a businessman, Jacques Boël, her legal father.

In 2017, the court found that there was actually a band that existed between Delphine Boël and her legal father, and for many years before his daughter would have worn. The artist went on to appeal against the decision, and the Court of Appeals ultimately held that, as Jacques Boël is not her legal father was Albert II, a DNA analysis has had to endure.
