Kazuyoshi Miura has the day after his contract with Yokohama FC, has once again been extended. In the meantime, the 52-year-old Japanese man, who is the oldest professional player to ever play this for a year in his native country.
Miura is going with his new contract, to begin his 35th season as a professional soccer player. “I will continue to do so, and to try to win it for the team. I am so thankful for it and I’m glad that I made the game of football can continue to enjoy it,” said the attacker, following his contract extension.
The Shizuoka-born Miura started his career in 1986 in Santos, brazil located in São Paulo. He was also active in Europe, with the Italian determined to succeed, and Croatia’s Dinamo Zagreb.
