Lewis Hamilton has decided to create a half-million dollars to be donated to help after the bush fires in Australia. The Formula 1 driver wrote on Instagram, deeply saddened by the situation in the country.
“I think it’s heartbreaking that up to a billion of the animals in Australia have a painful death, to be dead, in which they have no hand in them, and it’s not their fault,” writes Hamilton. The driver is said to be in mourning for the animals that have passed on, and pointed out that the species is closer to extinction-causes.
In a message on Instagram saying that the driver may or may not have to enter the amount in Australian dollars or united states dollars. If it is Australian dollars, the amount is converted to around 308.000 euros. In U.s. dollars in the amount of approximately € 450,000.
