Guus Hiddink has been quite affected by the death of Pim Verbeek. Rotterdam’s former coach, died Thursday at the age of 63, after having been for a long time to be sick.
“It is very sad and far too young to” mourn Hiddink towards The Observer. The Varssevelder had it about a week ago and still have a contract with the End.
“That’s when he told me, of course, is how it was and that it was a bit difficult was going to be,” said Hiddink. “I remember him as a master craftsman. Someone who is loyal, but not with closed eyes, as I always call it. He gave his opinion. He was not a follower, which I didn’t have to.”
