FC Den Bosch-chairman, and Jan-Hein Schouten, is that after all of the fuss was about time that the club help in the fight against racism. The president considers that the FC Den Bosch is in the meantime enough of being criticized, it is.
“What’s with me now, but leaves a lasting impression is this: everyone in the world will again be divided into the good and the bad. It was, as someone once said to me, “the perfect storm. The black Pete protests, this voetbalmiddag, our total error estimate, ‘Hitler’ in the grandstand, for the coach or flying off the track. And that is what we have known about it. And that is where we should be dealing,” writes Rowlands, in an open letter in the Regional Newspaper.
“But is it not the case that we are focusing on themes like racism and inequality with the word and link to this? Where is the link? “We are not racists, at FC Den Bosch. But, to my fury, there are some people who are under our flag, or have their views expressed. Where’s the helping hand? It drives me activist.”
