Five of the seven grandchildren of the king of sweden, Carl Gustaf are no longer confined to the royal family. The children of prince Carl Philip and princess Madeleine will continue to be a member of the royal family, but they are not, as such, will be addressed.
The king decided to give the kids more freedom as they grew up, at the request of the king, and now have no official functions have to be run.
This makes them, according to The Local , more freedom for their own careers, and they also provide more privacy to give up.
