Sydney van Hooijdonk had a feeling that his career as a professional player Friday night that really started it all. The son of former international Pierre van Hooijdonk was listening to his first move to STOKE city, with the winning match against Excelsior (2-1).

“This is a boys’ book, really great,” said a beaming Van Hooijdonk at FOX Sports. “The atmosphere in the stadium was great and the game is allowed to decide on, it is amazing.”
