In a career spanning more than 60 years, Rob de Nijs, soon bid farewell to the stage, and his popular audience. The 76-year-old singer is in the early stages of the disease, and Parkinson’s disease, but that it prevented him to have a bit more time to the best of their ability. “I am overwhelmed by the masses of the endorsement and thank you for the past few hours have been received. It is amazing, and I wish everyone a sincere thank you for all the kind words and appreciation. As I said before, I’m going to be a while, with encounter, as long as my health permits, and all of the concerts on the current tour, it will be in the Netherlands and Flanders, and in a great location. More than ever, I’ve been meaning to get out with my band and my songs, and the audience has to gain. Music is a huge part of my life, and I enjoy it more and when I’m on stage tomorrow. Acting and music have in my life for the last few years, in a positive way, is influenced and determined. It is precisely because I would like to do, and still managed to enjoy the upcoming performances in particular. With the very best musicians, it is as soon as a privilege to perform for the best audience I could ever imagine. Just write it down the old-fashioned lord-and there’s still a lot of want to play!”, says Rob de Nijs enthusiastic about it.
