Rod Stewart has been in remission three years after treatment for prostate cancer. The disease and the current state, was unveiled by the singer on Saturday in the Uk, Surrey, during a speech at a charity evening where money was raised for the prostate cancer treatment, reports Sky News.
The 74-year-old Stewart talks since July, is in remission, to be in February of 2016, and prostate cancer was discovered during a routine examination.
“No one knew this, but I think it’s time to make it up to everyone else to tell you,” said the father of eight children, to the congregation. “I’m out of harm’s way, because I was one of the early adopters had. Men, you really do need to see a doctor.”
