Diego Forlán on Wednesday and officially ended his career, he placed in it. The Uruguayan striker was in the summer of 2018 and is without a club.
“After 21 years, I have decided to leave it as a professional footballer,” he writes Forlán is on Twitter. “A wonderful period of time with great memories, and emotions that are coming to an end, but a new era will start. I would like to thank all those who, in the last period of my life, football has to hope for the best.”
The now forty-year Forlán began his professional career in 1998, with the Argentinian Independiente, and four years later to Manchester United for Europe to be achieved. After a successful stint at The Red Devils’ broke Forlán, in 2004, in Spain, too.
