A court in Ankara last Thursday, 74 people have been sentenced to lifetime prison sentences for their involvement in the failed coup d’état in 2016. Among the convicts are also helicopter pilots of the army.
Some of the pilots are accused of helikopteraanvallen completed on the presidential palace, the parliament and the headquarters of the police in Ankara.
