Representatives of the Venezuelan opposition and government have not been able to in Norway to come to an agreement. That leaves the opposition Wednesday to know.
‘This meeting without agreement is terminated,’ is heard in a communication of the team of the self-proclaimed interim president Juan Guaido. The opposition continues to stick to its demands: the resignation of president Nicolas Maduro and free elections.
According to the Norwegian ministry of Foreign Affairs have the camps ‘political, economic and electoral issues discussed in Oslo. Both sides have shown that they are willing to negotiate and to work out a constitutional solution’, sounds even.
While different countries Guaido have already been recognized as overgangspresident, Maduro still firmly in the saddle.
‘Our way is the dialogue, respect for the constitution, peace, democracy and a solution to the conflict”, says Maduro Wednesday. Guaido said in a tv interview that the street protests will continue.
