The only way to the ‘crisis of the Brexit’ to solve is ” back to the people to return’, by early elections or a new referendum to be organized. That has Jeremy Corbyn, the leader of the British opposition party, Labour, on Wednesday declared.
“The only way out of the Brexit crisis, our country’s tears, is now to return to the people,” said Jeremy Corbyn, in a statement. For Corbyn to the British ‘decide the future of the country, either by election, either by a vote on an agreement (to the EU exit) that is adopted by the parliament’. The next elections are normal for may 2022 planned, but there may be early elections declared if a two-thirds majority in the parliament so agrees or if a majority vote on a motion of no confidence vote.
Labour is often blamed for no clear point of view about the Brexit. That is reflected in the results of the European elections. The party had to settle with 14,05% of the vote and a halving of their European seats to 10.
After the election, gave a prominent member Alastair Campbell – former spokesman of ex-premier Tony Blair – that he is out of dissatisfaction with the Brexit position for another party, Lib Dem, had voted. He was then out of Labour. Dozens of other party members, including former ministers, have in the meantime their support for Campbell pronounced and admitted that they, too, for the same reason Labour voted. The hashtag #ExpelMeToo was even trending on Twitter.
