A part of the jewels and jewelry which booties were made for a raid in the house of Connie Witteman, are found in various raids by the criminal investigation department in Amsterdam. This confirms the police to the Telegraph.
On 7 July 2018, there was a break in the home of Connie Witteman, where jewellery, watches, cash and important documents in a safe deposit box were stolen. The value of the booty was previously estimated at 2.8 million.
The perpetrators, Ilias L., Tarik A. and his brother Yassin A. were sentenced to prison sentences of twenty-four, twelve and six months, but went in appeal.
