DPG Media (new name of De Persgroep) and “media house” have the intention to bring their activities within the Belgian job and recruitment market under a joint has yet to be established joint venture. This decision is prompted by a strongly evolving and digitalized job and recruitment market and should both parties be able to also in the future a leading position to maintain.

The job and recruiting market, is today in full transition. A far-reaching digital transformation, and the fact that large international platforms are increasingly on the recruitment market car, makes extensive investments in the areas of technology more necessary than ever.

Within this context, save the “media house”, and the DPG Media the hands in each other and they have the intention to bring their activities within the Belgian job and recruitment market, with particular Jobat and Vacature.com in a newly established joint venture. This collaboration should both be local players in order to determine the necessary scale to achieve technologically and also in the future a strong and leading position to continue to claim.

Both Vacature.com if Jobat are today leading players in the job and recruiting market. Both platforms will work the greatest range offered, hereby fully making use of the media reach of both DPG Media (The Latest News, HLN, De Morgen) as a “media house” (het Nieuwsblad/DeGentenaar, De Standaard, Gazet van Antwerpen, het belang van Limburg).
