At least eight people are injured in a bomb attack on a busy shopping street in the French city of Lyon. The police is looking for the man who bompakket left behind.
The explosion took place around 17.30 hours in the centre of Lyon, at the intersection of the rue Victor-Hugo to the rue Sala. The French president Emmanuel Macron had just started a speech on television and described the explosion as ‘an attack’, for the time being without fatalities.
