Hamilton slightly faster than Verstappen during the first training session in Monaco

Lewis Hamilton has during the first training session for the GP of Monaco, the fastest time ridden. In his Mercedes was the Brit just slightly faster than Max Verstappen and team-mate Valtteri Bottas.

Traditionally, the first practice sessions for the GP of Monaco is not on Friday but on Thursday, driven. Superzonnig was not at the beginning of the first training session, but the focus of the riders was not on the weather but on the job.

On a street circuit like Monaco is always searching for the right rhythm while at the same time you have to keep in mind that in Monaco the smallest error is harshly being punished. The crash barriers are indeed tremendously close to the ideal line.
