Nathan Van Hooydonck has his contract with CCC Team extended by one year to 2021. That the team got the license from BMC took over Monday known.
The 23-year-old Belgian riding since mid-2017 for the WorldTourformatie, after he was crammed into the teaching staff of BMC. Van Hooydonck is especially important in the classics for the team of Greg Van Avermaet.

“When Jim Ochowicz me after Paris-Roubaix called to me to say that the team my contract, wanted to extend, I was really happy,” explains Van Hooydonck. “It was an easy decision. I feel valued in the team for the work that I carried out. This contract extension shows that the team sees potential in me, giving me a lot of confidence. The riders around me in the group for the classics are so experienced, I can learn a lot from them. This season I put a good step forward. In the coming seasons, I want to do that one again, and together with Greg Van Avermaet to the finals of the classics drive. I would also like for a own result riding in the smaller races. Hopefully I can in the coming years, leader in the bigger races.”
