Trainer Neil Warnock moved to Saturday the death of Emiliano Sala by the relegation of Cardiff City from the Premier League. The Argentine attacker was in January on the way to the club from Wales when the plane he was in crashed into the sea.
“Relegation means nothing in comparison with the loss that we all felt by the death of Sala,” said Warnock after the defeat in your own home against Crystal Palace (2-3).
Cardiff had a Sala in the winter transfer bought from the French club Nantes. “We are degraded, yes, but there are more important things in life. The death of Sala puts everything in perspective. I had not thought that such an impact on the players would have,” said Warnock.
