Misconduct of fans costs Anderlecht duel without the public and fine

Anderlecht is Monday, hard punished by the Belgian football association. Misconduct on the part of the fans of the football club in the match with Standard Liege has led to a match without audience, a fine of 5,000 euros and a regulatory defeat.

The Anderlecht-supporters misdroeg earlier this month on a visit to the Hatch by three times, fireworks on the field to throw. The duel was in a 2-0 gap discontinued and is as expected not played.

Anderlecht agree with the penalty and the defeat, but not with the competition without the audience. ‘Purple-White’ has fifteen days to appeal to the Belgian Court of arbitration for Sport (BAS).
