Former Czech international Tomas Repka (45) is by the appeal court in Prague sentenced to two years in prison for fraud.
The ex-defender of Sparta Prague, Fiorentina, and West Ham had in december 2016, Mercedes sold for 1.2 million Czech koruna (almost 47.000 euro), while he has the truck rented.
In the first instance was Repka to fifteen months and sentenced, but on appeal was that penalty increased to two years. Repka attended the ruling, but his lawyer acknowledged disappointed. “We had a better result hoped for”, she said.
Fake ad for escort girls
Repka was already more in touch with the court. Last year, he received six months in prison by a court in Brno because he has a fake ad with photos and phone numbers of his ex had posted on a site for escorts. That sentence was later converted into a community service.
Driving under the influence, alimentatieproblemen
In 2015 and 2016 ran the ex-footballer convictions for driving under the influence. He was also already a penalty for non-payment of alimony to his ex-partner.
Collection of red cards
On the football field had Repka, 46-fold international, during his career, also often effort to get his temper under control. So he got as a player of Fiorentina (1998-2001) less than eighteen times a red card. At West Ham (2001-2006), he was four times excluded.
