Lauren Mayberry is threatened by fans of Chris Brown. The lead singer of the Scottish band Chvrches has shared the messages that they on Instagram received, after they criticized producer Marshmello had been expressed because of his collaboration with Brown.

Mayberry and her band Chvrches worked recently together with Marshmello for the single Here With Me. Then, when it became known that Marshmello is a song released by singer Brown and rapper Tyga, responded to Chvrches disappointed.

“We are angry, confused, and disappointed by Marshmello’s decision to collaborate with Chris Brown and Tyga. We respect him as a person, but by working with abusers and ‘predators’, their behaviour is made possible, glossed, and eventually even encouraged”, wrote the band on social media.
