The English Football League (EFL) has decided to make the match between Bolton Wanderers and Brentford on Saturday in the Championship not to let go. That decision follows a threatened boycott by the players of Bolton, who no longer want to play until they get their overdue salary.
“By these disappointing developments, we see us forced to the competition”, writes the EFL in a statement. “Bolton is as guilty seen. Will the disciplinary commission will continue to decide and then we’ll see if this contest is still caught up or not.”
The players of Bolton to have their salary on march still not received. It is not the first time that the payment of the monthly wages are delayed, for in February that was already the case. The selection decided at the beginning of april already 48 hours not to train to protest against the way things are going.
