The Brit Tao Gheoghegan Heart (24), the fourth stage in the Tour of the Alps won. The Briton was the fastest of a group of four, Nibali, Majka and his Sky team mate Pavel Sivakov. That remains a leader, for Gheoghegan Heart, it was already the second victory.
The stage of Baselga di Pine to Cles, it was decided during the climb of the Passo Predaia. A demarrage of Nibali was answered by the two Sky-riders, and Rafal Majka. The foursome built the lead systematically, and kept in Cles still have forty seconds on a group led by Chris Froome. Gheoghegan Heart ran the fastest, his team mate Sivakov remains the leader. The Tour of the Alps ends tomorrow with a tough mountain stage of Caldaro to Bolzano in South Tyrol.
