Ken Kercheval, better known as Cliff Barnes from the popular American television series Dallas, has died. The actor died at age 83, as reported in the American trade magazines Hollywood Reporter and Variety Wednesday. The manager of the actor, and a spokeswoman for the bergrafenisondernemer in Kerchevals hometown of Clinton in the state of Indiana confirmed his death.
Kercheval became famous by his role as the oilman Cliff Barnes, the eternal adversary of J. R. Ewing (Larry Hagman) who is always on the short end of the pulled, from the television series Dallas from the 80’s. In the US, ran the family drama about money, power and intrigue uninterrupted for 14 years. Kercheval played in all seasons.
