Southampton attacker, Shane Long has Tuesday written history in the Premier League. The Irishman scored during the uitduel with Watford after seven seconds, the fastest goal ever at the highest English level.
Long chased directly after the kick-off of Watford, intercepted the ball and devoured Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster with a subtle lobe.
The 32-year-old Long improved a nineteen-year-old record in the name of Ledley King, who in 2000 ten seconds needed to on behalf of Tottenham Hotspur to score against Bradford City.
