Southampton attacker, Shane Long has Tuesday made history with the fastest Premier League goal ever. Tottenham Hotspur, the opponent of Ajax in the semi-finals of the Champions League, won the comeback of Vincent Janssen.
Long scored during the uitduel with Watford after seven seconds, the fastest goal ever at the highest English level. He chased right after the kick-off of Watford, intercepted the ball and devoured Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster with a subtle lobe.
The 32-year-old Long improved a nineteen-year-old record in the name of Ledley King, who in 2000 ten seconds needed to on behalf of Tottenham Hotspur to score against Bradford City.
