Caleb Ewan (Lotto-Soudal) has the final stage in the Tour of Turkey won. For the Aussie it was his second stage victory in Turkey. The victory was the Austrian Felix Grosschartner (Bora-Hansgrohe).
The final victory of Grossschartner, that Saturday’s was his first profzege posted, was not in danger in the stage over 172,4 km between Sakarya and Istanbul. In a fight with Sam Bennett and Fabio Jakobsen, who in this race already, respectively, two and one time were allowed to celebrate, pulled Caleb Ewan convincing at the longest end. Christophe Noppe finished in seventh place.
Thimo Willems of Sport Vlaanderen – Baloise wins the king of the mountains. He reached early in the stage and first the top of the col of the third category, the only climb of the day.
On the roll of honour follows Grossschartner the Spaniard Eduard Prades.
