Ruben Bemelmans (ATP 406 in double) and the German Tim Puetz (ATP 73) Saturday in the final of the doubles was won on the Challengertoernooi in Tunis (gravel/54.160 dollar). In the final defeated the Belgian-German duo the Argentines Facundo Arguello (ATP 271) and Guillermo Duran (ATP 90).
The 31-year-old Bemelmans has one ATP double title to his cv. In 2012, he picked up with Xavier Malisse out of the race in Los Angeles. On the Challengercircuit he now sits on seven dubbeltitels, after Aachen, 2010, Vancouver 2012, Eckental and Aptos in 2014, Eckental and Mountains in 2015.
Thursday was Bemelmans (ATP 167) in the eighth finals of the singles turned off by the Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci (ATP 223). The ninth seed, went 2-6, 6-3 and 6-3 down.
