PSV-trainer Mark van Bommel understand that the KNVB is the schedule of the Premier league wants to change it to Ajax to cater for the semi-finals of the Champions League against Tottenham Hotspur, but recognises, however, that it causes problems for the Locals.
“It’s not ideal,” said Van Bommel on a press conference. “I do fully agree that when you go on Sunday you play on a Tuesday no Champions League can play.”
Ajax would with the original program on Sunday 28 april to take office against The County, and two days later against Tottenham playing in the Champions League.
