To the Saint Patricks Cathedral in Manhattan’s Wednesday night (local time) a man picked up two jerry cans with petrol and two lighters with him. He was shortly before closing time, stopped at the entrance.
That report American media on the authority of the New York police. The 37-year-old man was a security guard stopped. Out spilled the man some gas.
The police arrived immediately on the spot, but the man was no good explanation for his behavior, according to the New York Times.
His excuse was that he was out of fuel, had fallen, and that he, through the church the shortest way to his car wanted to take. But according to a spokesperson of the police turned out after checking that his car was still gasoline. It was decided the man.
